As the puzzle pieces are beginning to fit together, the picture is slowly emerging.

Oh my.

There was a reason that Barack Obama wasn’t fully vetted. There was a reason that the mainstream media didn’t delve into the past associations of our president. There was a reason that Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezco, Khalid Al Mansour, Rashid Khalidi, and Frank Marshall Davis were all dismissed as mere “acquaintances”, not major factors in our president’s life.

Any qualified researcher who looked into this man’s past would have been quaking in their liberal boots. The folks with whom Barack Obama has associated are not your ordinary, friendly neighborhood types. They are thugs, communists, and radicals with tremendous amounts of power and influential friends in very high places.

These are people who you don’t want to mess with.

We are finally beginning to understand why Barack has supported Iran, turned his back on Israel, dissed England and France, and called for Mubarak to step down. It’s becoming clear why it took Obama 9 days to address the Libyan situation, and even then, he never mentioned Gadhafi’s name once. After 2 weeks of watching Gadhafi slay thousands of his own people, Obama is finally calling on this man to step down- yet he’s allowing a White House spokesman and Hillary Clinton to do most of the talking. It’s almost as if Obama doesn’t want to be caught on tape criticizing this nasty dictator.

Doesn’t make sense, does it?

Thanks to WND.com, we are getting some of the answers. We’ve recently learned that Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the pastor who was a mentor and spiritual adviser to Barack Obama for over 20 years– and is the man who not only married Barack and Michelle, but also baptized their daughters-- has ties to Colonel Moammar Gadhafi, the evil dictator of Libya. Wright and his good friend, Louis Farrakhan- the leader of the Nation of Islam- visited Gadhafi in 1984, just a couple of years before Barack began to hang out in Wright’s church. It seems that Farrakhan and Gadhafi have had many cozy visits.

So when Obama selected Wright as his “mentor” (Barack’s words, not mine), Wright was already buddies with Farrakhan. Did Obama know? Well, Farrakhan made many guest appearances at Wright’s church over the years and it has been reported that Wright and Obama attended Farrakhan’s Million Man March in Washington.

Hmm….I wonder if Obama sat in the pew of Wright’s church on the days that Farrakhan spoke….or did he miss those days, too?

Farrakhan received a $5 Million interest-free loan from his friend, Gadhafi. He was also given a coveted award by the Libyan dictator in 1996– “The Gadhafi Human Rights Award”.

In 2007, Reverend Wright gave Farrakhan an “Empowerment Award” at his church. Remember that in 2007, Obama was still a member of Wright’s church.

Let’s see….Wright and Farrakhan were awfully chummy…..and Wright and Obama were also awfully chummy… and Farrakhan and Gadhafi were also chummy. Oh, and did I mention that at the G8 Summit in 2009, Obama gave Gadhafi a two-handed handshake instead of the “normal” single handed one?

Huh.

In a 2010 speech, Louis Farrakhan spoke to a group of followers:

“You don’t know how much our Muslim world is anxious to see the enemy handcuffed. …the enemy – the British and the Americans have created all of that havoc in the Islamic world. And imagine us rising up in America at a time when there’s no superpower to deal with us and God with us – is the power that’s gonna deal with America.”

Oh, and in that same speech, he also declared that “The cracker don’t have no authority over me”.

Reverend Wright expressed his own thoughts on the white race: “Barack knows what it means living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people…”

I get the feeling that Farrakhan and Wright don’t exactly like white people, don’t you?

So why is Obama hanging with these two?

After all, Obama was raised by his white grandmother, the one he called a “typical white woman”…….

According to Western intelligence, Gadhafi is responsible for some of the deadliest terrorist attacks in the mid-80s, including the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, that killed 270- most of them Americans. Gadafhi praised the British government when Abdel Basset Ali al-Megrahi, the only person convicted in the bombing, was released.

Obama is giving a two-handed handshake to a man responsible for the death of 270 Americans?

That’s simply shameful.

Obama didn’t denounce Wright until he had to, until political pressure forced his hand. He’s never said anything defamatory about Farrakhan. And you almost get the feeling that Obama wants nothing to do with denouncing Gadhafi, either. He’s using the U.N., using Hillary Clinton, using our allies in Europe to do the dirty work.

He’s busy hosting MoTown parties in the White House.

Farrakhan spoke on Sunday to a group of Nation of Islam supporters:

Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan predicted on Sunday that America faces imminent uprisings that mirror those in the Middle East.

“What you are looking at in Tunisia, in Egypt … Libya, in Bahrain … what you see happening there … you’d better prepare because it will be coming to your door,” Farrakhan said in a booming voice, thousands of followers cheering in his wake.

Farrakhan also called on President Barack Obama to allow protesters to march, urging the president not to attack innocent people when they do.

The puzzle pieces are all starting to fit, aren’t they? The reason that Reverend Wright and his Black Liberation Theology was an important issue in the 2008 campaign is because of Obama’s associations with Wright, Farrakhan, and Gadhafi. It’s because when our president has “friends” who denounce Israel, we need to know. It’s because when our president has “friends” who call America “the enemy”, we have a right to know. It’s because when our president has “friends” who have “friends” that have blown up an American airline, the voting public has the right to know.

The question remains: Why has Obama chosen these men to associate with and why is it so hard for him to distance himself from them?

There’s so much more. We’ve barely scratched the surface.

Uniforms. My kids wear them. I’ve worn them. I remember working at the Country Kitchen during the “graveyard” shift and being required to wear an uncomfortable brown dress with a checkered apron and a checkered scarf on my head.

It was humiliating.

But I was thankful that I had a job.

Keep your mouth shut . Be grateful. Two things we rarely see from modern-day liberals. Those from the Left believe that the rules in their school, their organization, their company don’t apply to them. You see- liberals don’t believe that they have to act or dress like the rest of us because life has given them a permanent “victim” pass, one which they can conveniently pull out of their back pocket whenever they feel the need. We sometimes refer to their victim status card as “discrimination”, “racism”, “sexism”, or “anti-gayism.”

They have an excuse for everything.

Case in point: A Muslim woman, 26 year old Imane Boudlal, just sued Disneyland because she can’t wear her headscarf to work as a hostess at a Disney hotel. Here’s what’s interesting: Imane didn’t wear her headscarf for months, but suddenly decided she would like to- so she wrote to the company to ask for permission. When she didn’t hear back from the company, Imane took it upon herself to start wearing her hajib.

When the folks at Disney became aware of the issue, they informed Imane that her hajib was not acceptable. You see, they have a strict definition of the “Disney look”, one that doesn’t outwardly show religion. Company rules were as follows: If Imane wanted to continue to wear her hajib, Disney would give her a job “in the back” where she wouldn’t be seen. If she wanted to continue to hostess, she would have to do so without the headscarf.

At no time was Imane going to be fired; she could simply decide which job she preferred.

Well, as with all good activists, these two options weren’t satisfactory. Enter the ACLU, the civil rights group that comes to the aid of the protected class whenever they feel oppressed. The ACLU believes that Imane should be able to wear her scarf AND be a hostess because Imane is feeling “humiliated”. In her own words, “They’re saying because I’m Arab, because I’m Moroccan, because I’m Muslim, they don’t want to see me in the front.”

No, Imane, they couldn’t care less that you are Muslim or Moroccan- They hired you, didn’t they? Disney has a standard of dress which they want you to comply with, one which everyone else at Disney MUST COMPLY WITH. Just because YOU don’t feel like complying doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have to.

Either take off the scarf or go work in the back.

Slippery slope, folks. We’re on a slippery slope, one in which the squeaky wheel gets the grease- and the “squeakiest” wheel seems to be those who have been told that the rules don’t apply to them, they are “victims.” It began when African Americans learned from community activists like Reverend Wright, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton that cries of “racism” got them special treatment. Everything from getting fired from a job to being denied acceptance to a college was attributed to discrimination. It quickly moved on to women who learned to cry “sexism” or “sexual harassment” whenever their jobs were terminated. Now we see gay teachers who want to cross-dress- or better yet, invite their students to their gay weddings during class hours. They call parents who object to this behavior “bigots” and are now pushing a “safe school” crusade through our schools in the name of “anti-bullying”- a crusade which opens up the door to teach our kids about gay sex.

Those of us who want to see our public schools teach our kids math instead of gay sex are simply “gay-bashers”.

This same “victim” mentality is coming from the Muslims and they’re pushing their initiatives through at break-neck speed. They want special prayer rooms in businesses and airports. They want time off of work to pray. They want Muslim-only prayer in our public schools, asking for foot baths so they can wash their feet before prayer. They receive federal funding for their public schools which covertly teach Islam during the day.

They want to push ahead with a mosque in NY when CLEARLY, if they were aiming for “peace”, they should back away out of respect for those who were victims of 9/11.

Interestingly enough, the same liberals who are voting for gay rights and women’s rights are also voting to push Shariah law into our country. I’ve often wondered if these liberal groups have bothered to research the Shariah complicit countries and take notice of how they treat gays and women? How many gays are there in Iran? How many women are stoned or beaten or raped or forced to marry someone they don’t love in Saudi Arabia?

Here’s the irony: Do women’s groups realize that wearing a headscarf is not a sign of freedom, but a sign of oppression? Do they understand that at one time, they fought for their right to “burn their bra” and now they’re voting to be forced to wear a hajib?

Disney has refused to kow-tow to Imame Boudlal’s desire to wear the scarf. She has chosen to go home 7 times without pay rather than comply with Disney’s rules. She is also going ahead with her lawsuit.

We, as Americans, need to stand up NOW for the right of private companies to set standards of dress and actions for their employees.

The slope gets steeper every day.

I’ve written about the link between the Catholic Church and Saul Alinsky in the past, and while it is uncomfortable for Catholics, like myself, to hear the truth, the only way to get to the bottom of this corruption is by making it public and demanding that this behavior be stopped. When I saw this video, I realized that the corruption goes even deeper than I knew.

I went to my own priest with this information and was greeted with a stone wall- He didn’t want to hear any of it. He pleaded ignorance, but more importantly, he refused to “look into” my facts, instead questioning my sources and denying my claims. I believe that in a way, this scandal is as big (although not as immoral) as the priest abuse scandal. The idea that our Church has been stealing money from the parishoners in the name of “helping the poor” and then using it to fund organizations which promote Saul Alinsky and his radical ideology is beyond belief.

Please pass these videos on to your Catholic friends or take them to your own priest and demand that this be stopped.

Oh, my. Our mainstream media seems to be ignoring their job again…..

Pamela Geller at Atlas Shrugs apparently has to do the dirty work for them. It seems that when nobody was looking (or reporting), the Egyptian Prime Minister of Egypt went on TV and told of an interesting exchange that he had with Barack Obama…

“There was a recent “Nile TV broadcast in which Egyptian Foreign Minister Abul Gheit said on the “Round Table Show” that he had had a one on one meeting with Obama who swore to him that he was a Moslem, the son of a Moslem father and step-son of Moslem step-father, that his half-brothers in Kenya were Moslems, and that he was loyal to the Moslem agenda. He asked that the Moslem world show patience. Obama promised that once he overcame some domestic American problems (Healthcare), that he would show the Moslem world what he would do with Israel.“

This has been verified in the May 2010 issue of “Israel Today” in an article titled “Obama, a ‘Strategic Catastrophe,’” by Aviel Schneider:

“The feeling among the Israeli public is that Obama is appeasing the Muslim world at the expense of Israel. “The American President told me in confidence that he is a Muslim,” said Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit on Nile TV.”

The author continues: “That could explain why Obama has instructed that the term “Islamic extremism” no longer be used in official government documents and statements. Furthermore, the US is now accusing Israel of harming American interests in the Middle East. General David Petraeus, the head of US Central Command, said Israel’s intransigence on resolving the conflict with the Palestinians is endangering US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. Even the US Congress considers Obama’s behavior toward Netanyahu humiliating. Three-quarters of the House of Representatives, 337 of 435 members, signed a bipartisan letter to Clinton expressing “deep concern over recent tension” between the two countries, and demanding that it be smoothed over quickly and in private.“

It is presumed that the meeting between Obama and Gheit took place in January, 2010, when Gheit was visiting Washington DC . He was in town to convene with Hillary Clinton regarding MidEast Peace Talks on January 8, 2010.

So is Barack a Muslim or isn’t he?…..

Here’s what’s interesting. Barack attended school in Indonesia under the name Barry Soetoro when he was young. His religion was listed officially on school documents as “Islam.” At some point, when he was a young adult, he started to refer to himself as Barack Hussein Obama again.

He must have been proud of the name or he wouldn’t have changed back, right?

Yet, during the Presidential campaign, it was considered “racist” to use the name “Hussein” when saying Barack’s name. Why? Could it be that he wanted to distance himself from his Muslim name, knowing that America was not ready to elect a president with Islamic roots?

He’s never explained.

If Barack has denounced his Islamic faith, as he claims, then he is in danger for his life because Sharia Law states that anyone who leaves the Islamic faith is considered an “apostate”- and could face grave consequences. An article in the Christian Science Monitor explains it this way: “There are two types of apostates. The first type is murtad milli, one who converted to Islam and later renounced the faith. The second, and most egregious, type is murtad fitri. It refers to a person born of a Muslim father who renounces his birthright.

According to Islamic jurisprudence, children of a Muslim father – even an apparently nonpracticing one, such as Obama’s father, and irrespective of the mother’s faith – are automatically Muslims. Most Muslims around the world agree: A child of a Muslim father is a Muslim. Period.”

Those who leave the Islamic religion face death threats.

Does Obama seem frightened of those in the Middle East when he visits there? If he were a true “apostate”, a man who had left Islam, you would assume that we’d see extra security when Obama visits Islamic countries overseas. Instead we see Obama bowing to a Saudi Prince, quoting from the Koran in Cairo, placating the Palestinians, and turning his back on Netanyahu and the Jews time and time again. He’s gone out of his way to hire more Muslims to his administration, to proclaim that the United States is NOT a Christian Nation, to ignore the Islamic connection to the Fort Hood massacre, to handle Muslim terrorists from Gitmo with kid gloves, and to downplay the “terrorism” involved in the thwarted attacks by the panty bomber and the NYC car bomb.

Is he doing this because he is afraid for his life or because he is still sympathetic to the religion of Islam?

And why is he telling Egyptian Foreign Minister Abul Gheit that he is still a Muslim and will show the Muslim world what he will do with Israel in due time?

Why are we now promising $400 Million to the Palestinians, money we have to borrow from China, when there is no guarantee that the money won’t be used for weapons against Israel by the terrorist government, Hamas? Why are we joining with Turkey and supporting a UN inquiry into the flotilla incident when it seems clear through reports and film footage that Israel had every right to defend itself and protect its blockade?

Who is the real Barack Hussein Obama?

And 18 months into his presidency, why don’t we know?

The media is to blame, folks. They have stopped investigating and started worshiping at the altar of our President. They don’t seem to understand how important it is for this country to keep Sharia Law at bay. If Obama is a Muslim and is pushing a Muslim agenda, then the citizens of the United States have a right to know.

If Gheit is lying about his exchange with Obama, then wouldn’t you think that Obama would like to clear up the lies?

And if he’s not a Muslim, then why is he acting like one?

It was National Press Day and our President was getting ready to sign the Daniel Pearl Press Freedom Act when he decided to say a few words about the significance of this memorable day:

“Obviously, the loss of Daniel Pearl was one of those moments that captured the world’s imagination because it reminded us of how valuable a free press is.”

He went on, “It was “one of those moments” – you know, like Princess Di’s wedding, Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction, whatever – “that captured the world’s imagination.”"

It “captured our imagination”? Really?

For those who don’t recall, Daniel Pearl was a Jewish journalist who was captured and decapitated in Pakistan by a group of radical Muslims on February 1, 2002.

I remember the day that I heard Daniel Pearl had been beheaded; I remember hearing that we could watch the beheading on the internet and the sick feeling in my stomach just thinking about it. I remember hearing on the radio some of the audio of Daniel’s last words, “My name is Daniel Pearl and I am a Jew from Encino, California, USA”, along with his screams of terror and pain which accompanied the beheading. I was haunted for days. I was horrified at the pain his parents and his wife must have been experiencing, thinking that it must be too much for them to bear.

Never, and I mean NEVER, did this nightmare “capture my imagination.”

I also remember Princess Di’s Wedding. I woke up early to watch the fairy tale event, filled with horse-drawn carriages, bridesmaids, dresses, flowers, laughter, and love. It was a day for joyous celebration in England.

I cannot imagine anyone, especially our President, comparing the two events in any context.

Especially with Daniel’s parents and wife in attendance, standing behind him.

What must they have been thinking? How disturbing must it have been for them to see this insensitive President talking about their husband and son, a man who kept his composure while his head was being sawed from his body, and comparing this horrific event to Janet Jackson’s top being ripped off or Princess Di’s wedding vows.

It gets worse.

The man convicted of beheading Pearl is Omar Sheikh, a British-born Muslim who was born into considerable wealth and went to exclusive, private schools in both England and Pakistan. He has a history of jihad, however, having been taught by the masters during his days in Pakistan. He has not, yet, been put to death because his appeals to this case have not been heard.

What is he appealing?

Well, it seems that Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the mastermind of 9/11, confessed in March 2007 that he was the actual killer of Daniel Pearl : “I decapitated with my blessed right hand the head of the American Jew Daniel Pearl, in the city of Karachi.”

Wait a minute, isn’t Khalid Shaikh Mohammed the same guy who Obama wants to bring to NYC for a civilian trial? Are you telling me that our President wants the terrorist, who not only planned the attacks on September 11th, but also bragged about beheading an American citizen, to get American rights and a special trial?

Does this sound strange to anyone?

Whether it’s the panty-bomber, the Fort Hood terrorist, the NYC bombing suspect, or those who currently reside at Gitmo, our President has originally taken the side of the Muslim terrorists at every turn. He has supported Hamas and chastised Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, for building apartments and infrastructure on his own Israeli land. Our administration even refuses to prosecute the Black Panthers, a group which has Muslim ties, for intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place.

He has bowed to the Saudi Prince.

Now we see Barack dismissing the beheading of Daniel Pearl by a Muslim jihadist.

The Muslim ties run deep in this President. Whether it’s due to the his time spent in Indonesia as a child or the indoctrination by radical college professors, it cannot be denied that Obama’s loyalties toward Islam runs deep. Maybe too deep.

When you can’t call out a Muslim extremist or a radical terrorist for what they are, when you won’t allow waterboarding to get information from terrorists because they are Muslims, when you want to give Muslim terrorists Miranda Rights and civilian trials, then you have lost perspective.

Folks were worried that JFK would allow his Catholicism to impede his ability to govern. People worried about Mitt Romney’s Mormon faith when he governed Massachusetts. Yet, never have we had a problem with a the faith of a politician coming into play as significantly as we have seen with Obama.

Oh, except when Keith Ellison (D. MN.) insisted on putting his hand on the Koran when he was sworn into office.

You see, once a Muslim, always a Muslim.

We see the evidence more and more each day…..

As an optimist, I have a glimmer of hope that liberals will someday see the error of their ways. I’d like nothing more than for democrats to realize that the party they once loved, the party of JFK, is no longer the party that they vote for- wanting them, in effect, to “wake up and smell the coffee.”

It’s also time for those of us who are conservative Catholics to “wake up and smell the coffee” about the Catholic Church.

Just a warning: The coffee is very strong.

The priest scandal is old news. It’s a horrible, black mark on our Church’s soul and will be for years to come. But the pedophilia is not the only issue that Catholics should be concerned about, not the only reason to be outraged at the modern-day Church. We need to look into the financial dealings inside of this religious structure to expose lies, deceit, and actions that are diabolically opposed to what the Church is supposed to represent.

Something, you might say, “ain’t right.”

Unfortunately, we must once again start with Saul Alinsky, the original “community organizer” and a guy who wrote the now infamous book, “Rules for Radicals.”

Alinsky dedicated this book to “Lucifer, the first community organizer.”

That, alone, gives you a pretty good sense of this man.

What you need to know about Alinsky is that he was a radical socialist. He wanted strong revolutionaries to infiltrate cities and take over power from the evil corporations, giving it back to the people. He believed that poor people had to “rise up” and take what belonged to them. He’s been quoted as saying, “To hell with charity. The only thing you’ll get is what you’re strong enough to get.”

OK, so where does this tie in with the Church?

CCHD (The Campaign For Human Development) is a non-profit program run by the Catholic Bishops (USCCB). What isn’t well-known is that CCHD and ACORN are kissing-cousins of sort. Both began at the same time and both are off-shoots of Saul Alinsky’s ideology. CCHD sells itself as a mainstream Christian charity that “addresses the root causes of poverty in America”, but it is actually a funding tool for Alinsky inspired organizations.

You see, when the basket in church comes around and asks parishoners to give money “to the poor”, the money is actually going to support organizations which want to further the communist/socialist agenda in this country. For years, the Catholic Church was funding ACORN through this program, in fact, in the past decade, over $7.3 Million was given to ACORN from the CCHD.

This was money which Catholics believed was going to help the needy.

When ACORN was exposed, the Catholic Church was forced to stop the funding, but they still continue to fund other Alinsky organizations like the Midwest Academy, the Industrial Areas Foundation, PICO, DART, and the Gamaliel Foundation.

What do these organizations do?

Alinsky headed up the Industrial Areas Foundation until his death and called it “a school for professional radicals.” It is now run by an ex-seminarian.

The Midwest Academy is run by two Alinsky-taught socialists. According to David Horowitz of the Freedom Center, the academy “teaches radical activists tactics of direct action, targeting, confrontation, and intimidation.” Midwest promotes itself as a school committed to progressive, social change.

PICO was founded in 1972 by a Jesuit priest who was trained in Alinsky techniques. It is a training school for activists. This year PICO has worked with other organizations “to encourage churchgoers to campaign for a government takeover of the nation’s healthcare system.”

Why is the Catholic Church supporting these radical organizations? Former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon, served on the board of the Capital Research Center and wondered the same thing. He complained in the late 1980′s that CCHD was funding “radical left-wing political activism in the United States, rather than traditional types of charities.”

I called the Archdiocese in Minnesota and asked to speak with someone who could tell me where exactly the money they collected in the name of CCHD was going. I was given a woman in the “Social Justice” department. She told me, “Yes, we DO give money to Gamaliel, PICO, and a few others. They do such good work.” As I told her about the “work” these organizations actually do, she hung up on me.

Hmmm….

Just last week we heard rumblings from the Bishops of Los Angeles, Salt Lake, and Arizona, who were opposed to the new immigration law. They called the law, “draconian” and called upon the Administration to “review its impact on civil rights and liberties.” They made it clear that the Administration must include amnesty as a central component of any new law.

Now Nancy Pelosi has come out insisting that bishops and priests “speak from the pulpit” about immigration reform. The same woman who has tried to get God out of every aspect of our lives suddenly wants the help of the Church to advance her amnesty cause.

Hey Nancy, what happened to separation of church and state?

To add salt to the wound, CCHD, along with the Bishops Conference (USCCB) helped to finance and support the “May Day” rally in front of the White House. Both organizations are listed as financial supporters of the radical group CASA de Maryland, an illegal alien support group which helps to facilitate illegals into the Maryland area.

In 2006-2007, CCDH gave $40,000 to CASA. This is money taken directly from the parishoners at Catholic churches, money which is supposed to go “to the poor.”

It is instead used to help illegal immigrants, including those who are violent drug dealers and gang members, march for “their rights.”

Money from Catholics is going to help protest against our own country.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, folks. Look into the policies of the Catholic Church and you will find that along with the bishops, SEIU is sitting at the conference table, helping to negotiate Catholic Labor policy.

Honestly.

These same bishops (USCCB) supported the Health Care Bill, despite the fact that it was passed with language that still supported abortion. What happened to their moral fiber?

ACORN, SEIU, CASA, IAF, PICO, DART, the Gamaliel Foundation……..

What’s going on? How did Saul Alinsky and his radicals infiltrate our Church?

And what are we going to do about it now that we know?

Putting our head in the sand in the name of “being a good Catholic” will not solve the problem. We need to stand up to the corruption and demand to know why our Church has succumbed to the evil of a man who dedicated his book to Lucifer. We need to know how a Church, which professes to stand for “Life” can support organizations which are so-far Left that they support infanticide and other Maoist tactics.

We need to know.

And we need to educate others.

We ask liberals to wake up.

It’s time that we wake up, too.

Larry David is the writer and star of the HBO comedy show, “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” On a controversial episode this past year, Larry (who plays himself) was taking a type of medication which caused him to urinate forcefully. While visiting a woman’s home, he used the bathroom, and his urine splashed up and hit a picture of Jesus on the wall, making it appear that Jesus had a tear dripping from his eye.

The homeowner, a devout Christian, believed this to be a “miracle”, not knowing that it was actually Larry’s urine.

I watched the episode, and to be honest, I actually found it to be funny. Hey, if we can’t laugh at ourselves, then we have some problems.

In fact, many of the world’s problems could be solved if we’d find a little humor.

The Catholic League had a different view, one which I understand. They felt as though Larry was showing a level of disrespect toward Christian religions, arguing that he would not have been so bold in poking fun at other religions, especially the religion of Islam.

Realistically, would Larry have used comedy to diss the Islamic religion, knowing the death threats which may follow?

Me thinks not.

Case in point? South Park.

This cartoon which airs on Comedy Central pokes fun at everyone. They’ve taken on gays, Jews, Christians, and a number of other groups, all with the same type of disrespect. Because they are “equal opportunity name-callers”, they seem to have avoided the wrath of civil rights activists.

Until now.

You see, they’d never made fun of Mohammad before, they’d never dared to attack the Islamic faith.

Obviously, they didn’t get the memo that unlike Jesus, the Pope, Catholics, Jews, and Christians, Mohammad and comedy don’t mix.

I guess Mohammad is in a protected class all his own.

Hmmm…..

We need to begin to listen, not to those who cry foul when Mohammad has been ridiculed, but to those who understand, who have seen the wrath of Muslims when they don’t like the ridicule. Listen to someone like Brigitte Gabriel, a Christian woman who was born in Lebanon and was forced to live for 7 years in an underground shelter because the Muslims had forcefully invaded her once, multi-religious country. Listen to her tell the story of how those in the Islamic religion took over the reigns of the Lebanese government and killed “infidels” who dared to continue to practice their Christian faith.

Her story will take your breath away.

Listen to apostates, Muslims who have dared to leave the faith. Male apostates, according to the Koran, must be killed. Females are either imprisoned until they recant or are put to death, depending upon which sect of the Islamic faith they belong to.

“In the Prophetic Tradition, apostasy is punishable by death, a view which is upheld and detailed in both the Sunnite and Shi’ite law books. However, the offender is usually granted an opportunity to recant. Only adult, sane, male apostates who have acted freely are to be executed (traditionally by the sword). Women are either imprisoned until they recant (Hannafites and Shi’ites) or are executed (Malikites, Shafi’ites, and Hanbalites).”

We all saw the Muslim’s lack of humor when a Danish newspaper had the audacity to print a cartoon depicting Mohammad in a negative light.

There were death threats, not only on the cartoonist, but on the newspaper personnel who dared print it.

When American papers got wind of the controversy, they reported the story but refused to reprint the cartoon, giving the Muslims exactly what they wanted, power through intimidation.

We saw the murder of Theo Van Gogh, the Dutch filmmaker killed by an Islamic extremist in 2004 after making a film critical of Islam.

This is how it starts. This is exactly what we see happening in England today. Those in the Islamic religion who moved into Great Britain under the guise of peaceful immigration have taken over the British culture in ways that are unprecedented. They have forced Sharia Law into the English judicial system, creating 2 separate forms of justice, one for the Muslims and one for everyone else.

If a Muslim man beats his wife, he will receive a lesser sentence than a Christian man who does the same thing because Sharia Law allows men to beat a woman if she has disgraced their husband’s honor.

Those darn Christians don’t worship a book which allows the beating of women.

Got it?

Muslims have forced their religion into our public school system, stating that the Koran requires them to pray at certain times each day.

Yet the same liberals who push for the right of Muslims to pray, also force Christmas and Halloween out of those same schools in the name of “separation of church and state.”

Where’s the outrage? Where’s the common sense? Where’s the “fairness”?

Americans are not used to bullies. We are the ultimate “melting pot”, wanting to accommodate those who have come into our country and need time to assimilate.

The problem is that many Muslims have no desire to assimilate. They want to change our culture. They want to control our schools, control our newspaper cartoons, control our TV shows, and control our freedom of speech…

As long as we accommodate them, they will be peaceful.

If we don’t, watch out.

Case in point? There was a bomb found in Times Square a few days ago, one conveniently placed adjacent to the Viacom building. What’s Viacom? Well, it’s the home of Comedy Central, the media outlet which airs South Park. Was the bomb intended for the South Park creators? We don’t know, but coincidences rarely happen in the world of terrorists.

We need to stand our ground firmly NOW, before the Muslim population becomes too large, before they get stronger, before they get bolder.

We are America, home of the free…..

I listened to two, liberal women conversing in the doctor’s office the other day.

You can learn a lot by listening to two, liberal women converse.

One of the women, Janet, is the Vice-principal of a high school. Rose, the other gal, said she is a stay-at-home mom. While they were talking, Janet mentioned that her public school was having some issues with the rapidly growing population of Somali students. You see, it is required that her school opens up the doors of the auditorium to these kids for 15 minutes a day at 1 PM to pray. This happens to be during regular class time, so the kids are excused from class during these prayers.

Rose asked the logical question, “Wait a minute. Are you telling me that you’re allowing prayer in the schools? There’s no praying in schools….”

Without skipping a beat, Janet defended the actions, “The Islamic religion requires these kids to pray at a certain time each day, something other religions do not, so we have no choice but to allow them to follow their religion.”

Funny, but in the next breath she stated, “Only 10% of the kids actually pray. The other 90% use it as a break. The teachers get mad because the students are supposed to make up the work they missed during their prayer-time, but they rarely do.”

I could feel my throat closing up as the blood ran to my brain. In the name of “Separation of Church and State”, the government has not only taken Halloween from our children, stripping them of a fun day of fantasy, but they’ve also taken all of the morality of Christmas and Hanukkah from them.

Yet, Muslims are allowed to pray in PUBLIC schools.

I guess their “moral values” are more important than ours….especially the ones about killing infidels.

Worse yet, these Somali are washing their feet before prayer in the sinks and toilets of the school bathrooms, leaving puddles of water and wads of paper towels strewn all over the floors. Janet told the story of girls who were washing their feet in the water fountains, the ones other kids drink from.

Take a deep breath.

I opened up the news a few days ago to see that U.S. District Judge Crabb (appropriately named) has ruled that “The National Day of Prayer” is unconstitutional.

Huh.

According to CNSNews.com, “The decision came in a case filed by the Freedom From Religion Foundation, a Madison, Wis.-based atheist group, which had argued that the “day of prayer” statute was unconstitutional because it endorses prayer. The judge agreed with the atheist group, and based her decision, in part, on the fact that atheists “feel” marginalized by the law directing the president to declare a National Day of Prayer.

She claims that the plaintiffs suffered a “distinct harm” when their feelings were hurt.

I’m speechless.

Hey, I wonder how these atheists feel on “National Immigrants Day”, especially if they aren’t immigrants?

January 14 is billed as “National Dress Up Your Pet Day”- what if these atheists don’t have a pet? What if they want a pet but have severe allergies?

Wouldn’t that cause them “distinct harm”?

The non-Muslim kids at public school could claim “distinct harm”, too. It seems to me that in a “fair” world, one could argue that they have to go to school for 65 minutes a week more than the Muslim kids.

Maybe someone needs to bring that lawsuit to Judge Crabb.

Speaking of the good judge, she may have done us a favor. Her ruling assures us that this lawsuit will most likely end up in the Supreme Court, and ironically, with the help of a little prayer, our justices may see the insanity involved here. There is no rational thought involved in this decision, no logic, and no consideration for the vast majority of Americans who are religious.

An atheist feels bad. End of story.

Did I mention that Judge Crabb also reigns from the communist-leaning city of Madison, Wisconsin?

Why is that important? Well, Madison is a place where Karl Marx would feel at home. It is known as the “Left Coast” of Wisconsin and was the birthplace of the progressive movement. It is also the city that is the home to many radical professors, a couple of whom launched “The New Party”, a socialist party of the 90′s that managed to get radical candidates elected into office at every level.

Barack Obama was a member of the New Party, although he now denies involvement.

Shocking.

He’d love Madison, too.

I’m waiting for America to wake up. I’m waiting for parents who send their kids to public schools to demand that their religion get equal billing to the Islamic religion. I’m waiting to see the citizens of this country stand up and demand the Ten Commandment statues be returned to their proper place at our courthouses. I want them to scream that they’re frustrated when they see a crucifix in urine being called “Art” or when they see their President refusing to give a speech in front of a cross or crucifix.

The National Day of Prayer doesn’t demand that anyone prays; it simply allows us the option.

The day may soon come when the option is gone. No more outside prayer services. No more religious marriages in the park. No more Bible study classes in private homes.

No more prayer. You slowly see it happening, don’t you……?

Heaven help us.

We’ve all heard the stories that came out of communist Russia during the days of Stalin. Christians would hide in the basements of their home, taking out rosaries and Bibles, which had been cleverly hidden, to help them pray.

You see, religion had been virtually banned in Russia. The people of Russia were not to worship God, they were to worship Stalin, and anyone found praying was punished, forcing these folks to hide in their own homes and hold prayer services in secret.

That’s what happens when you don’t have a First Amendment that promises freedom of religion. Thank goodness that could never happen in America.

Or could it?

Take the situation in Gilbert, Arizona where 7 people were meeting in their homes (they actually switched off homes each week) to pray, hold a Bible study class, and attend their church. The city authorities found out about these meetings and ordered this behavior to cease based on a city ordinance under the Land Development Code. A letter was sent to the pastor of the Oasis of Truth Church, telling him that he could no longer hold church related prayer or services in his home.

Only 7 people attended these meetings and there was not one complaint from the community over parking or noise.

In fact, most people in the neighborhood had no idea what these people were doing.

And no one cared.

Except the city- Big Brother government. They not only insisted that the 7 people couldn’t conduct a Bible study, they also told them that they couldn’t hold a “pot luck” dinner or a three person church meeting in their homes.

No lie.

Is the city this tough on all groups of people?

Actually, no. It is perfectly acceptable in Gilbert to have boy scout meetings, book clubs, tupperware parties, or weekly women’s group meetings in private homes. Hey, gays could have a weekly support group meeting and that would not be objectionable to city officials.

It’s the religious meetings that are out of bounds.

The Alliance Defense Fund became involved and wrote a letter to the city stating that its current policy was unconstitutional based upon the first amendment principles of freedom of assembly and freedom of religion.

“The interpretation and enforcement of the town’s code is clearly unconstitutional, ” said Daniel Blomberg, a member of the litigation team for ADF. “It bans 200,000 Gilbert residents from meeting in their private homes for organized religious purposes – an activity encouraged in the Bible, practiced for thousands of years, and protected by the First Amendment.”

In the meantime, the small church has been forced into a local school. The city administrator has claimed that they will “revisit” the issue soon.

Is this an isolated event?

In San Diego county, a similar Bible study group was broken up by the county. When the people of the area heard of the problems, they heavily supported the prayer group, forcing a letter to be written from the chief officer of the county to the pastor who was holding the meetings:

“I want to offer my apology to you, your wife and your congregation for the unfortunate events of the past several weeks. My review of the situation shows that no administrative citation warning should have been issued and that a major-use permit is not required for the Bible study you have in your home.”

Michael Medved, a Jewish radio talk show host, spoke on his program about a couple of disturbing incidents dealing with the Jewish tradition of “sitting shiva” when a member of a Jewish family dies. In their culture, the family who lost a loved one sits at home for 7 days while mourners come to their home during that time to pay respects and pray with the family.

In two separate cases, these gatherings have been broken up by local officials because of city rules which don’t allow prayer groups to be held in homes.

It’s disgusting.

Gosh, didn’t Barney Frank hold a prostitution ring inside of his home…and isn’t he still a member of Congress?

Hmmm….

What’s next? Can we pray with our families at dinner? At Thanksgiving? Can we say the rosary at night with our kids? Will the government come into our homes, as they did in Russia, and punish us for worshiping?

What if our book club bases its book selections on Christian books? Can a book club read and discuss Christian principles week after week and still fall within the city ordinance?

What’s next?

Control. It’s all about control. Government control.

Our constitution is no longer an impediment to this control. The amendments mean nothing; our rights “given by our creator” mean nothing.

It’s Deja Vu.

Once again, we find out that Barack Obama is being advised and mentored by a radical reverend, one who simply doesn’t preach “mainstream” religion.

I just don’t get it.

We already know about Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright, the reverend who married Barack Obama, baptized his children, and preached to him and his family for 20 years at Trinity Church in Chicago. We’ve heard the stories of his Black Liberation Theology, a religion that believes African Americans must be “liberated from multiple forms of bondage”, including economic, social, and political bondage. The religion began as an off-shoot of Malcolm X’s proclamation in the 1950s against Christianity being taught as “a white man’s religion.”

Suffice it to say, from what Reverend Wright teaches, there is no “room at the inn” in this church for whites or Jews.

Barack claims that he didn’t see any of this reverse racism when he attended on Sundays and wasn’t aware that this church preached hate. It seems that the good reverend held his racist views to himself when he saw Barack at Sunday service.

Huh.

Then along came Barack’s inauguration and another “mentor”, Reverend Joseph Lowery who Barack asked to give the Benediction on this historic day. The good reverend read a poem that he had written, a poem which included a couple of interesting statements: “We look forward to the day when Black won’t be asked to give back” and “when White would embrace what is right.”

Huh.

Sounds a bit racist, doesn’t it?

This was cast off as the simple utterance of an old man- certainly not a reflection on the feelings of our President.

Hey, do you think that someone might have or should have proof-read the poem before Reverend Lowery read it?

Just a thought.

And then there’s the issue of Obama’s faith-based adviser, Harry Knox. It seems that Harry has a few issues with the Catholic Church -with the Pope in particular- and he isn’t afraid voice his opposition. You see, Harry is gay, and personally believes that the Pope is “hurting people in the name of Jesus” by not promoting the use of condoms to prevent AIDS.

The Catholic Church has 100′s of years of history promoting abstinence and I guess the Church didn’t feel like changing its policies to pacify the beliefs of Harry Knox.

Harry also verbally berated the Pope on other issues and didn’t mince words about the Knights of Columbus when they wouldn’t denounce Proposition 8, the gay marriage initiative in California. Rick Warren, the famous minister and author of “The Purpose Driven Life” also supported Prop 8, which led Harry Knox to throw a few barbs his way.

Maybe Harry needs to start his own progressive church- or maybe he should join Reverend Wright’s church, the one that finds fault with everyone but themselves.

Instead, this man has a job advising our President on the virtues of spirituality and acceptance.

Now we have another member of Obama’s faith counsel who is causing a few waves. Reverend Jim Wallis is described as a “spiritual adviser to the president” by World Net Daily. They claim he is a “social activist who has championed communist causes and previously labeled the U.S. ‘the great captor and destroyer of human life.’”

Oh, and Wallis has asked everyone to stop watching Glenn Beck because Glenn teaches the evils of social justice.

You see, Wallis is the editor of a magazine called “Sojourners” and he preaches social justice- things like wealth distribution and “government managed economies”- in his publication. Interestingly enough, it turns out that Wallis has known Barack “for years”.

Huh.

Better yet, Sojourners has been known to publish writings by all kinds of radicals, including the founder of Black Liberation Theology.

Hey, isn’t that the same religion that Reverend Wright was preaching?

Yes, as a matter of fact, it is.

Oh, and did I mention that Reverend Wallis was the Michigan leader of the Students for a Democratic Society when he was younger? Remember that group? They were the socialist/communist group of kids who helped Francis Fox Piven with her “Cloward and Piven” theory of overwhelming the New York welfare system. They were also the group where Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Jeff Jones, and Wade Rathke (of ACORN) got their start.

Now this man is a faith adviser to the President. He works with Harry Knox, the anti-Catholic adviser.

Between the two of them, it looks like our President is getting some really good advice from their wholesome perspective on Christianity.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, has had an association or two with a person of questionable character. I believe that during the last election, most Americans wanted to give Barack the benefit of the doubt when it came to Trinity Church and Reverend Wright.

It was strike one, and we didn’t want to jump to too many conclusions.

Then came Lowery. Again, maybe that was just an old man speaking.

Strike Two.

Then came Knox. Now there’s Wallis.

Three strikes, Barack. You’re out.

You’ve surrounded yourself with socialists, communists, Maoists, Black Panthers, Black liberation theologists, Weatherman Underground believers, and other radicals. Yet, you deny knowing anything about these people. You refuse to acknowledge them and when you are told of their ideology, you refuse to fire them.

Huh.

That’s all- just “huh”.
