Things aren’t always as they appear….
Author Marsha Munson knows a thing or two about the Girl Scouts. She vividly remembers when at age 13 , she attended her second trip to a summer Girl Scout camp; she walked in on two naked counselors, both women, in the staff house double bed. She says it was her introduction into lesbianism.
Wait a minute…. what? I thought we were talking about the Girl Scouts…
Marcia goes on to say that she “found out, a few years later, that at least half the staff, including the director, were lesbians that summer.”
It seems that we know very little about the true Girl Scouts. The pristine reputation of this organization that sells cookies, goes camping, and collects badges is deceiving. While the girls are young and innocent, the leaders of this organization may have some very different things in mind when it comes to educating your girls.
In 1993 , Girl Scouts USA decided to make God optional in its program at the national convention in Minneapolis, an idea known as “Proposal 3: Flexibility in Spiritual Wording.” The rules suddenly changed. Christmas carols were no longer sung, praying at meetings was discouraged, and singing hymns was not allowed.
The “promise” recited by the girls at their meetings goes like this: On my honor, I will try: To serve God and my country, to help people at all times, and to live by the Girl Scout Law.
In this new cirriculum, there is now an asterisk by the organization’s promise which reads:
“Girl Scouts of the USA makes no attempt to define or interpret the word ‘God’ in the Girl Scout Promise. It looks to individual members to establish for themselves the nature of their spiritual beliefs. When making the Girl Scout Promise, individuals may substitute wording appropriate to their own spiritual beliefs for the word ‘God.’”
Girls may now substitute their own wording to make themselves comfortable?….
A new cirriculum, called “Journeys”, was introduced to the Scouts last year. The girls are introduced to feminists, lesbian authors, communists, Marxist women, and are encouraged to become advocates for causes like the environment, universal health care, and racism.
I guess sewing, cooking, and basket weaving have been replaced.
At last year’s convention, the traditional American flag ceremony and playing of the National Anthem was replaced with flags of all nations being paraded to the tune of “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire.
Oh, and there’s more good news.
The Girl Scouts now partners with Planned Parenthood to give the girls a little sex education.
I wonder if it’s done around the campfire.
The biggest secret in the Girl Scout community, however, is the rampant lesbianism in the upper ranks of this organization.
According to Worldnetdaily.com:
There is a book called, “On My Honor: Lesbians Reflect on Their Scouting Experience” which is filled with experiences of lesbian encounters associated with the Girl Scouts.
“On My Honor” includes an essay titled “All I Really Need to Know About Being a Lesbian I Learned at Girl Scout Camp.” Lopez reported that “staffers writing in the book claim that roughly one in three of the Girls Scouts’ paid professional staff is lesbian.”
The author, Dr. Nancy Manahan , included excerpts and stories in her book of the sexual experiences of 33 lesbians. These stories all happened while at Girl Scout camp.
Here’s one such story as reported by AFA Journal:
Lesbian Janet de Vries, who has been involved with GSUSA for 25 years, said that she discovered other lesbians in leadership as a 19-year-old camp staffer in Wyoming. She said, “I became involved with another staff member and discovered more about sex in one summer than I had learned in a year of kissing.” When de Vries and her lesbian “life partner” accompanied a group of girl scouts on a trip to California, the pair’s sexual orientation became a subject of discussion for the younger girls.
One woman told a story about being a 19 year old camp counselor in Minnesota at age 19, claiming : “Scouts was the perfect cover” for lesbians who were in camp leadership positions.
So there you have it.
The Girl Scouts have been kidnapped by the Left. They have systematically managed to take away God, to take away Christmas Carols, to take away the American flag, to teach the kids about sex, to introduce them to women who are communists and Marxists, and to give them a good dose of lesbian education.
Gosh, I wonder if they get badges for all of that?
They do all this under the deceitful guise of cookies, campfires, and crafts.
Sending your daughter to camp may not be the wholesome experience that you thought it would be.
Buying cookies to support this organization may not support the wholesome cause you had hoped.
Our friends on the Left have taken that away.
They just can’t keep their dirty little hands out of anything that’s good, can they?
